California Surf Museum Acquires C.Martino Artwork

OCEANSIDE, CA - The California Surf Museum has acquired the artwork of San Diego artist Chris Martino (\\\"C.Martino\\\") for its permanent collection.

The artwork, \\\"Requiem for a Left Pointbreak\\\" features a stylized surfer dropping into a wave. The piece was constructed using the top half of one of Martino\\\'s favorite surfboards, a 6\\\'6\\\" which was broken while surfing large waves at Del Mar Rivermouth in the beachfront town of Del Mar, California in San Diego\\\'s North County.

The companion piece \\\"Requiem for a Right Pointbreak\\\" constructed of the bottom half of the same board, remains in the private collection of the artist.
